Last weekend was the 2023 IBJJF American Nationals held in Las Vegas, Nevada. CTA Palo Alto Instructors Gabriel Marangoni and Thamara Ferreira made the trip to compete in the multiple day event! On day one, they both took gold in the black belt gi division, with Thamara finishing second in the open division as well!
Day two was a repeat of day one, with both athletes once again being crowned champions. Both of them are proof, that hard work, perseverance, and discipline pay off! Congratulations to Thamara and Gabriel, can't wait to see what's next!
