This week in CTC class, we’ll continue our focus on the deep half guard. We’ll work on attacking with the waiter sweep setup, as well as learning an effective way to pass the position when on top.
On Thursday, we’ll shift our attention to reverse half guard. Even if you don’t regularly play this guard, it’s crucial to understand it so you know how to respond when an opponent uses it against you. By the end of the week, you’ll have a stronger understanding of both how to play and how to counter these guards.
