This week in CTC class, we’ll continue our focus on the De La Riva guard. We’ll start by learning the leg drag, one of the most effective and versatile ways to pass the guard. It’s easy to learn, highly efficient, and a technique every grappler should have in their arsenal.
Later in the week, we’ll shift to attacks from the De La Riva, focusing on using sleeve and pant grips. Each grip combination creates different angles and opportunities to attack, so understanding these options is crucial for building a complete and dangerous open guard game.
