When first learning arithmetic, we are taught 2+2=4. Mimicking the techniques from class without understanding their concepts is like answering "4" for every equation without learning to solve the problem. Each time you come to class, your knowledge of the concepts will grow until eventually you can find solutions independently.
The lesson plans are your guide through Jiu-Jitsu, and just like a textbook, they will not give you the answer to every question. Whether facing problems on the mat or in life, Jiu-Jitsu gives you the tools to overcome them!
