Making mistakes is part of the learning process. Especially when you start Jiu-Jitsu, the movements feel awkward, the techniques are foreign, and the objectives of each position are unclear. As you gain familiarity and experience with the curriculum, you will begin to gain an understanding of what Jiu-Jitsu is.
In order to learn, mistakes will be made. Under the guidance of Professor Caio and our instructors, you will be able to correct your errors and understand why the techniques are done the way they are taught in the curriculum. Don't be afraid to lose training rounds or ask for help in understanding a position. There is no shame in losing a training round when you're trying to work on understanding the position.
