We'd like to send a huge welcome to Kaniela Kahuanui on being the newest CTA Palo Alto Instructor. Kaniela, like Benji and Ryan, has taught, competed, and represented the Caio Terra Association for over a decade! He was one of the first homegrown teachers, directly mentored by Professor Caio Terra and Nick Haloski. He had a successful career as a competitor, from winning the Abu Dhabi pro and competing in Dubai to being crowned SUG champion!
Kaniela will be teaching our No Gi classes on Monday and Wednesday nights. He will also fill in as needed. In addition to being a fantastic Jiu-Jitsu instructor, Kaniela is a physical assessment specialist at Aperion Life and is pursuing his master's in High-Performance Sports.
