This past weekend CTA Athlete and BJJ Palo Alto instructor, Mason Fowler traveled to England to represent Team USA at the Polaris Invitational. In the first half of the event, Mason's submission over Kywan Gracie gave the US team a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, the Brazilians came back and were able to get a submission in the last 10 minutes to secure the victory 2-1. Overall it was an amazing event, although it didn't end the way we had hoped, Mason and all of Team USA represented well!
Mason should be back in the academy and teaching next week. His camp is just getting started for ADCC and we can't wait to see him back in action. Lets go MASON!
