Some rounds naturally get more intense. The pace goes up, grips get tighter, and everything starts happening faster. It’s easy in those moments to forget what you’ve been working on and just react.
The goal isn’t to avoid those rounds, but to stay aware during them. Try to stick to your positions, manage your breathing, and look for the same setups you drill in class. That’s what helps your training actually carry over when the intensity goes up.
