One thing that helps a lot in Jiu-Jitsu is knowing when to let go of something that isn’t working. It’s easy to get stuck trying to force a position or hold onto a grip just because you already invested time into it. But sometimes the better option is to reset and move on.
Letting go at the right moment keeps you from wasting energy and putting yourself in a worse position. Being able to adjust instead of forcing things is a big part of improving over time.
